Growise
An app for home hydroponics that brings measurements, a grow journal and historical charts together — so you always know how your plants are doing, what needs attention and what to do next.
The problem
I grow with recirculating hydroponic systems and needed a way to track measurements (pH, EC, temperature), interventions (nutrients, adjustments, transplants) and plant health, without relying on scattered spreadsheets or memory. The tools on the market are built for industrial growing or are too generic — I needed something tailored to the way I work.
The solution
A dashboard that brings together the status of every system, the crops in progress and their history — with three views designed to answer right away "how are my plants doing?", "what needs attention?" and "what should I do now?".
Every system's status at a glance
Crops, measurements and journal in one view
How pH, EC and temperature change over time
Design highlights
More than a logbook: every measurement stays linked to the intervention behind it, to understand what changes over time and why.
Every intervention stays linked to the measurement behind it
The system timeline shows every event — adjustments, nutrients, transplants — alongside historical measurements, so a change in the data isn't just an isolated number but explains itself. For systems sharing a reservoir, an intervention on one tower automatically shows up in the journal of the connected one too.
The app does the math, not you
"Prepare nutrient solution" calculates the exact amount of each product based on the actual reservoir volume and the crop's growth stage; "Adjust pH" guides an iterative process — measure, adjust, wait, re-measure — until the value is back on target.
Personal product and nutrient library
Brand, product line, dosage by growth stage and mixing notes, always at hand while preparing the solution.
Automatic observations
Simple rule-based insights from real historical data — for example pH drifting back up after an adjustment — without inventing patterns when there isn't enough data.
Shared reservoir across systems
Multiple towers physically connected to the same reservoir stay in sync: capacity, volume and interventions are reflected on both.

My role
I grow with recirculating hydroponic systems and needed a way to track measurements, interventions and plant health without relying on scattered spreadsheets or memory. I built Growise to answer three questions every time I open the app: How are my plants doing? Does anything need attention? What should I do now?
I designed and built it from scratch, from multi-system management to guided workflows for preparing nutrient solutions and adjusting pH, all the way to automatic observations on historical data. It's a personal project that's still evolving, with a complete user account — authentication, row-level data isolation (RLS) and the ability to delete your account and data yourself.
Note: Growise is a personal project still in testing, not yet a commercial product — the screenshots show my own real hydroponic systems.
